Description
A male Northern Cardinal flies through the winter storm dodging the tree branches in the woods laden with icicles. The skies were dull and grey with a bit of a purple tint, the air was brisk and chilly. The only sign of beauty and life was this bold red bird flying from tree to tree on this cold winter day in my Missouri backyard.

Love it ... perfect the way the downward wings mimic the icicles hanging on the branches! Amazing capture!

Wow! That's amazing; took me a few seconds to realise what that intriguing shape of colourful crimson was - LOL ;^) Excellent capture of this handsome Cardinal inflight, all the more respect for you having caught it perfectly head on Bill! Love the overall composition and of course the wonderfully artistic finish, needless to say V & F'ing (!) this and have to give it an FB share as well :^)
