In a realm where the sky's mood wielded more power than the mightiest of monarchs, a rare celestial dance unfolded above the sleepy hamlet of Verdant Fields. The villagers, a simple folk who plowed the earth and whispered to the winds, had never seen the likes of the spectacle that now roared above their thatched roofs.
It began as a whisper, a soft humming that caressed the golden crops, a prelude to the opus that would soon command the heavens. With a crescendo of thunder, the skies opened, unfurling a tapestry of electric blue and gold, painting the horizon with the fury and beauty of a thousand storms. This was the Vortex, a legendary whirlwind said to be the breath of the gods, bestowing life and taking it, all in a single, magnificent spin.
Old Marn, the village elder, leaned heavily on his cane, his ancient eyes reflecting the storm's turmoil. He told of the Prophecy of the Twisted Skies, where the vortex would descend to harvest the souls brave enough to gaze into...
