In the kingdom of the mighty dragons, the clan of the fractal scales was renowned for their majestic beauty and power. These dragons roamed over the lands with their vibrant, fiery fractal mandala scales glistening in the sun, creating mesmerizing patterns that illuminated the sky.

Legend had it that the fractal scales had been gifted to the clan by the gods, who valued and admired their courage and resilience. The scales were said to provide the dragons with an unmatchable energy and power, making them nearly invincible during battles, and gifting the ultimate authority over fire.

One day, an evil sorcerer determined to acquire the power of the fractal dragon's scales. He plotted and tricked a clan member into giving him the secret to unlocking the scales' power. The sorcerer was able to harness the power of the scales to burn down entire villages, destroy castles and terrify the people of the kingdom.

The fractal scales clan knew they must restore the power back from the sorcerer. They harnessed the power of the scales and came together in unison. A great eruption of flame and power shot up from the dragon's scaly armor, creating a wave of energy so fierce that the sorcerer never stood a chance. From that day on, the dragons resolved to keep the secret of their magnificent fractal scales a mystery and legend which only a few, trusted dragons would know. The power of the fractal scales remains a myth, a tale told by the elders to remind the younger dragons of the power that lies within them. The fractal scale dragons are now considered to be the most revered and respected of all the dragon clans, and their fractal mandalas are the most sought-after treasures of all.
